The specific function of the Roads and Bridges Design is to provide Design and Documentation and Technical Services to the Department. The Branch is mainly supported by the Survey and Lands Branch and the Materials Research and Testing branches. They provide services to the Roads and Bridges Design Branch during the early preparatory design work before any detailed design work can commence.
